One of EA Sports FC’s upcoming competitors, UFL, held its first open beta between June 7th and 9th. The three days saw astonishing numbers being registered, with millions of players tuning in.
UFL officially releases
The game's official X profile (formerly Twitter) shared some information about the beta on June 17. An image showed that players had created 1,320,000 clubs, played 5,560,000 matches, and scored 9,986,206 goals.
It also revealed some unsurprising details, such as how Cristiano Ronaldo was the most popular player throughout the weekend. The Portuguese is one of UFL’s ambassadors and is investing serious money in the game. Additionally, the developer said that the top five countries with the most players were the United Kingdom, Brazil, the United States, Germany and France. That’s hardly surprising, considering all four countries (except the US) are known for their national teams and leagues.
