Farm Folks developers Crytivo were hit hard on social media today after asking fans for feedback on the game’s “chest-shaking physics.” Many fans who once found it exciting slammed the post as a very strange joke for a fun farming simulation game.

Community engagement will always be a double-edged sword for developers. But many would agree that there are more appropriate ways to start discussions about character appearances than asking which of the three videos has perfect "jiggle physics" on X (formerly Twitter), especially if your upcoming game is aimed at a predominantly female audience. But that's exactly what Crytivo did today. The original post has since been deleted , but KotakuInAction shared screenshots of the tweet on April 29.
Many community members were shocked, disappointed, and even a little weirded out by Crytivo's post, with many immediately suggesting that this is far from what they'd like to see in a casual farming sim game. One player even said, "There's no need to have one at all." And considering that's not an option in any farming sim game on the market, they may be right.
The devs responded to the immediate backlash by suggesting that players "pay attention and ask for more real-time physics and body shapes to be added." From the responses to an additional post made by the devs in the Unity3D subreddit, this appears to be the case, as people commented on which of the options they would like to see or if they wanted to see any at all. Since results varied, the devs theorized that "leaving [this] setting up to players to choose [the percentage] for their preferences" might be the best option, allowing players to choose whether or not this is something they want to see.
