This article explains how to update apps in Windows 11. There are two main categories of apps installed in Windows 11: Microsoft Store apps and third-party apps.

Apps installed through the Microsoft Store are automatically updated by default. However, you can manually update an app if you know there is a newer version available and Windows hasn't given it to you yet.

Select the Microsoft Store app (the shopping bag icon) on the taskbar.

Select Library at the bottom left.
