OnePlus is releasing four new devices later this month. Details are still scarce, but more news will undoubtedly emerge as it approaches the Summer Launch Event, scheduled for July 16 in Milan.
A OnePlus Summer launch event
According to a press release emailed to Lifewire, we can expect the OnePlus Pad 2 (a new tablet), the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro (mid-range earbuds), the OnePlus Watch 2R (Wear OS watch), and the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone, which the company promises will be “the only all-metal unibody smartphone of the 5G era.”
Official details about the devices haven't been released yet, but there are plenty of rumors floating around about what we can expect. One such rumor, for example, is that the OnePlus Pad 2 has already launched in China as the OnePlus Pad Pro. If that's the case, we could see a 12.1-inch tablet with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip running Android 14.
Another rumor, based on the image included with the press release announcing the products, suggests that the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro could come with a display case, which the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 didn’t. However, there’s a note on the product image that reads, “Product images and graphics shown in the video are for illustrative purposes only.” What that means is that it’s anyone’s guess as to what features these new products could come with, even if there are some seemingly good clues suggesting what’s possible.
