Achieve more by doing less
Run programs automatically with Windows Task Scheduler
This seems to be the age of automation when it comes to our personal lives. From smart homes to Siri shortcuts, we can now achieve more by doing less. So why are you still performing repetitive tasks manually in Windows?
It turns out Microsoft really turned it up to 11 when it comes to Windows 10’s version of Task Scheduler, an application that lets you perform all sorts of nifty automation tricks.
Most simple tasks are also easy to automate, as they only involve launching an app with a few supported arguments (startup commands). Advanced automation with Task Scheduler requires scripts to be written to account for a complex sequence of actions.
