Usher Postpones Other ATL Shows, Reveals Reason
UPDATE: After announcing the postponement of the opening night of his “Past Present Future” tour in his hometown of Atlanta, Usher released a statement explaining that he is rescheduling the first three shows in his hometown due to a neck injury.
"Earlier this week I injured my neck while rehearsing to give my fans the best Usher show ever," he wrote on social media. "I was hoping that with physical therapy and medical treatment I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night. Unfortunately the injury has not healed and my doctors have instructed me to not perform any shows this week. The good news is that the doctors say that with proper rest and treatment I should be ready to begin the tour in Washington DC on August 20th.
“I love my fans,” he continued, “and thank you for understanding that this injury needs to heal so I can give you the 100% excellence you expect from an Usher show and I will be on stage in your city very soon.”
