At first glance it might not seem like much, with its old-school pixelated graphics, but Valheim is already shaping up to be one of the best games of the year.
I found the trolls' weak spot in Valheim
Judging by the screenshots posted to the game’s Steam page, it’s easy to underestimate Iron Gate AB’s first game. But beneath that pixelated surface lies a slick, addictive gameplay that’s packed with content and is already making waves on social media, Twitch, and even Steam itself.
“Download Valheim,” Twitch streamer and professional esports host Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez wrote on Twitter. “It’s $20 and the best survival game made in a long time. #NotAnAd I love it.”
In addition to receiving praise from thousands on social media, Valheim currently sits at the top spot on Steam's top sellers list. It also has an "overwhelmingly positive" rating on Steam, and for good reason.
