As one of the most popular tactical shooters in the world, VALORANT has had its share of issues. Among the many problems are players dropping matches and being toxic, leading some fans to call on Riot Games to copy Dota 2.

On May 7, a player on the VALORANT subreddit proposed an interesting solution that they believed would solve the problem. “How about a system like in Dota 2 where toxic people are put in a queue until they reach a good behavior score again,” the player wrote. Given that this system worked in Dota 2, many in the VALORANT community agreed, hoping that griefers would improve their behavior over time.
The premise is simple: Dota 2 rates players based on their in-game behavior and communication. Your rating can influence item drops for game completion, your ability to pause during a match, and competitive modes. If these scores are above 10,000, you’re in the clear. However, if your behavior score is below 3,000, you can’t play ranked.
Currently, if your communication rating in Dota 2 drops below 8,000 and 6,000, you will no longer be able to use voice and text chat respectively.
