Starry Studios is listening to Once Human players again, this time with a whole shopping list of long-requested changes. Doors that don’t open, cluttered HUDs, custom key bindings, and audio optimizations are all on the menu, as are fixes for ongoing server instability and account-wide cosmetics.
How to get the Jeep / Swapping Vehicles / Once upon a time
Since Once Human launched on July 9, players have had a lot to say. They’ve complained about everything from the lack of a first-person perspective to the poor multiplayer experience, with the post-apocalyptic title’s cluttered in-game UI coming up as a major issue multiple times in recent times. The developers seem to have taken all of this to heart, and have now responded by promising just about every update they can.
The biggest things promised, according to a dev blog shared by the Once Human team on August 3, include everything from a mouse wheel weapon swap to a toggle that turns off tooltips when entering and exiting areas. HUD modules are also getting a refresh, as are door interactions.
In addition to these gameplay changes, there are also changes coming to the sound department, with the Once Human radio getting more music soon.
