We at Venom are incredibly excited for the Marvel Rivals closed beta that starts in a few weeks, as today we got a look at new gameplay footage of the powerful symbiote.

The first look at Venom’s gameplay in Marvel Rivals this morning did not disappoint, showing off the Vanguard (tank) in all his powerful, mobile glory, teasing his loadout and showing off moves that make him a nightmare for players on opposing teams.
In the short teaser, Venom (the original Eddie Brock version) is shown crawling and running on walls, showing off some serious mobility combined with his imitation web-swinging with his symbiotic tentacles. He could be the most mobile tank in the game, alongside Hulk and Peni Parker.
Venom then launches itself off the surface of the wall to use an ability called Diving Strike which deals AoE ground damage. It then uses its primary attack, which is similar to Groot's, lashing out with its tentacles as a pseudo-projectile to deal damage.
