Victrola, the turntable manufacturer that's been around since (see notes) 1906, announced something interesting at this week's CES 2022 conference.

The company just introduced a pair of nifty Bluetooth speakers, the Victrola ME1 and ME2. The ME1 is a portable speaker, while the ME2 is a tabletop model. Both speakers in this Music Edition (ME) line transmit audio via Bluetooth, have anodized aluminum grilles, and an IP67 waterproof rating.
The compact and portable Victrola ME1 features a 2-inch driver and passive bass radiators for rich low-end sound. It is battery powered, matching its portable form factor, and lasts for approximately 12 hours per charge. It is available in a range of colours including black, grey, blue, red and green.
The larger Victrola ME2, on the other hand, has a 3.5-inch driver and dual passive bass radiators, making it loud enough for outdoor gatherings. It’s also battery powered, offering 20 hours of use per charge, and has a Qi charging pad on top of the speaker. It comes in black, gray, and blue.
