A newly datamined video has given League of Legends players their first look at the rumored new champion set to hit the Rift soon. Aurora, a Vastayan bunny, was first teased ahead of the 2024 League season, but she could be making her grand entrance by entering the client very soon.

The video, posted to the SkinSpotlight YouTube page, is an animated comic that chronicles the origins of Ornn and Aurora's friendship. The story begins with Aurora seeking out the Forge demigod to help a friend in need, while Ornn recounts the events, describing the Vastaya as quiet, stealthy, and curious. With Aurora entering the Hearth Home, Ornn creates a powerful new artifact for her that may be tied to her in-game abilities: a magic wand.
With her new wand in hand, Aurora casts a spell that opens a portal on the mountain of Ornn, causing snowflakes and a few small poros to fall upon the mighty figure of the Master of the Forge. As enchanting as it sounds, the scene gives League fans a glimpse into Aurora's potential abilities.
When she was first teased, League designers hinted that Aurora has "a natural ability to see what others think isn't there," which could hint at some sort of Control-like ability. While Riot hasn't officially released anything yet, League players may already be starting to talk about what new abilities the mid-range mage could bring to the table, including the chance for Aurora to bring her new friend, a Haestryr, into battle to aid her – much like Ornn's ultimate ability Call of the Forge God.
