Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies got its final story mission with the Season 5 Reloaded update. The Act IV Ascension mission concludes the MWZ Dark Aether lore, and we're getting a prequel in Black Ops 6 Zombies soon. Here's a full walkthrough of the mission that sees you fight The Entity.

Before you head into a match, make sure you’re properly equipped with a level 3 armor plate, a large backpack, self-revive kits, essential Perk-a-Colas, and a weapon kit. As you can see in the image above, I went fully prepared with all of this gear and even equipped myself with a Legendary Aether Tool and Flawless Aetherium Crystal to instantly max out my weapon’s Pack-a-Punch.

If you have these items in your stash, now is the best time to use them; otherwise, you can spend time obtaining these upgrades during the match by completing missions and earning Essence. For lethal and tactical, I recommend going with the usual Throwing Knife and Decoy Grenade as usual. Furthermore, I carried The Scorcher Case as this wonder weapon because it helped me travel through the Dark Aether with ease.

In the match, go directly to the Tier 3 Threat Zone if you are prepared with all the gear. Reach the extraction indicator in Old Town (see image above) and you will find a portal there. Interact with it to start voting for the mission to enter the anomaly. If possible, I recommend waiting for other players to join so that your team will be larger, making the mission much easier to complete.
