For some players, it can take hours to find their perfect character before they can settle into a game. It’s a rite of passage for many Warframe players, and they’ve recently started comparing how long it took them to discover their favorite frames to use.
The Obvious Reason Why Everyone Plays Warframe
Warframe is a free-to-play behemoth with over 50 Warframe suits for players to choose from. While these can be purchased directly from within the in-game story, developer Digital Extreme offers an alternative that allows players to spend hours grinding resources and quests before unlocking them. It may take a long time, but the dedicated community dives straight into the fight with each update, and several Warframe community members on Reddit shared how long it took them to find their favorite frame to use while playing.
It all started with a relatively new Warframe player who revealed that he had only been playing for 113 hours and had yet to find the ideal frame that he enjoyed playing. Thankfully, many members of the Warframe community stepped up to share their stats on how long they had been playing and their favorite picks.
One avid Warframe player, Minoreva, reported that they had “2,200 hours (of profile stats),” from Trinity to Vauban, Protea, and finally Dante, but they also offered some sage advice for newer Warframe players. “It’s hard to stick to one Warframe,” they noted, “because using one too much will result in boredom and repetitive gameplay.” Considering the time it takes to learn and stick with Warframe, these numbers are about what we might expect from veteran players as Warframe celebrates its 11th anniversary this year.
