WB is busy preparing for Multiversus, a mascot-based fighting game featuring characters from across the company's entertainment portfolio. Fans will have to wait a little longer for the official launch, though.

Multiversus was supposed to release next week, but developer Player First Games has just announced that the release date is being pushed back to an unspecified date in the future. However, they assure players that the game is still coming.

This delay also concerns the release of Morty, known from Rick and Morty. The little rascal was supposed to appear at the same time as the launch of the first season of the competitive free-to-play fighter.

“We know this may be disappointing for some and want to assure our community that we are committed to delivering new and exciting content that will delight players,” Player First Games wrote.
