Read-later service Pocket now forces users to create a Firefox login. Maybe it's time to look at another option?
I've never seen a Read Later app do this
Read-later apps are kind of like Linux on the desktop. You’ve heard of them and know people who use them, but you don’t see the point. Or, if you’re a user, chances are you’re a total fanatic. Pocket is a pretty good read-later service with one unique feature that might make it indispensable to you. But it’s gotten a little bloated and corporate lately, so let’s take a look at why read-later apps are so great, and why there are so many better options than Pocket.

Read-later apps let you save a web page, newspaper article, or blog post to read later. They also usually clean up the clutter that comes with modern publishing, leaving you with beautifully formatted, ad-free, pop-up-free text and images.
