Streaks make Snapchat a lot more fun to use. Once you get one, you won't want to stop!
How do Snapchat streaks work?
A streak, or “snapstreak,” is a representation of how many days in a row you’ve managed to send photo or video snaps back and forth with a specific friend. For example, if you sent snaps to a friend every day for five days and they responded with snaps every day, your snapstreak would be at a count of five.
Snapstreaks appear directly next to a friend's name in your conversation tab. The Snapstreak is represented by the flame emoji, which may or may not be accompanied by additional Snapchat emojis that represent other meanings of your friendship.
As your Snapstreaks grow, you’ll also see a number appear next to the flame emoji, which represents the number of days you’ve maintained your Snapstreak. If you maintain a Snapstreak for 100 days, the red 100-dot emoji will appear next to the flame emoji.
