Despite being a relatively new player in the streaming arena, Kick has not been immune to internal investigations or accusations. These allegations, made by a former employee, concern the platform’s treatment of a streamer battling cancer.

While it's unclear if these allegations are true, this is everything the former Kick employee said about Kick and their alleged behavior toward a streamer with cancer.
Kick's ex-employee Melissa posted a video to YouTube on June 17, in which she made several major allegations against the new streaming site, including that the company was planning to hire a streamer with cancer.
According to Melissa, the Kick top brass discussed how to get this beloved Twitch streamer onto Kick and Stake. In her exit video, Melissa claims the meeting turned “sinister,” claiming that someone in the meeting said, “We can get her onto Kick streaming Stake for a relatively low price because she probably thinks she’s going to die soon and wants to leave more money for her family.”
