If you choose to reset network settings, all stored internet and network-related data on your device will be erased, such as Wi-Fi names and passwords, network login information, and information on paired hardware such as headphones or speakers.
What happens when you reset network settings or when we reset network settings and why do we need this?
Most devices and services let you manually delete specific information related to individual internet connections and connected devices. For example, you can delete a single Wi-Fi network that you no longer use without affecting your other Wi-Fi connections.
On the other hand, resetting your network settings will not only delete the credentials for that Wi-Fi network, but also all of your other saved Wi-Fi connections, all Bluetooth device pairings, mobile network preferences, and saved VPN information.
It is important to emphasize that resetting network settings is not the same as a factory reset.
