If you want to summon Siri on your iPhone to see what happens when you say the number “14,” you might want to think again. Unless you need emergency services.
What happens to Siri when you say 14?
Locations outside of the U.S. use 14 and others to contact police, fire, and ambulance services in an emergency. Not every country or region uses 911.
In addition to number 14, numbers 15, 17, 18 and 19 are also used to contact emergency services in countries and regions such as Albania, Chad, Mali, Martinique, Morocco, Tahiti, etc.
Other numbers such as 01, 02 and 03 are used in Ukraine, Latvia and Belarus for emergency services.
