The computer case is primarily used to physically mount and house all of the components of a computer, such as the motherboard, hard drive, optical drive, floppy disk drive, and so on. They usually come with a power supply.
Do you really need a PC case?
The casing of a laptop, netbook or tablet is also considered a case. Because these are not available separately and are not easy to replace, computer casing is usually the casing of a traditional desktop PC.
Some popular computer case manufacturers include CORSAIR, NZXT, Xoxide, and Antec.
Motherboards, computer cases, and power supplies all come in different sizes, called form factors. All three must be compatible to work well together.
