Wireless hotspots are wireless access points, usually in public places, that provide internet access to mobile devices such as your laptop or smartphone when you are away from the office or home. Typical Wi-Fi hotspot locations include coffee shops, libraries, airports, and hotels. Hotspots make it possible to get online from anywhere, but they do come with some security issues.
