This article explains what an MRIMG file is and how you can use it on your computer.
Create and restore a Windows backup image with Macrium Reflect
A file with the MRIMG file extension is a disk image file created by the Macrium Reflect backup software for the purpose of storing an exact copy of a hard drive.
An MRIMG file can be created so that the files can be restored to the same drive in the future. This allows you to view the files via a virtual drive on another computer, or to copy the entire contents of one hard drive to another.
Depending on the options selected when the file was created, it can be a complete copy of a disk, including even unused sectors, or it can contain only sectors that contain information. It can also be compressed, password-protected, and encrypted.
