Artificial intelligence is converging with biometrics to make computers and smartphones more secure. This article explains the topic.
Biometric technology explained
Biometrics is defined as the study and application of scientific and/or technological methods designed to measure, analyze, and/or record the unique physiological or behavioral characteristics of a human being.
Biometrics uses human characteristics that are unique to each person, so that we ourselves can serve as a means of identification/authentication instead of having to enter a strong password or a long PIN code.
Many of us already use biometrics today, such as fingerprints and faces.
