Windows is the de facto gaming platform. No other operating system has the breadth of compatibility that Windows does, but there’s another reason why it excels. Microsoft recently bridged the Xbox gaming platform with Windows 10, allowing users to use both almost interchangeably.
This is done, among other things, via the Xbox Game Bar, an overlay where users can see which friends are online, what time it is, information about the PC's performance and much more.
The system process gamebar.exe is the background process that runs when Xbox Game Bar is open. It displays a wealth of information to gamers and can be customized to the individual needs of each user. It can also be displayed as GamingServices in the Task Manager.
