Masters of Albion – Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer | gamescom 2024
As the name suggests, Masters of Albion takes place in the world of Albion, which features a wealth of quests, story choices, treasures, and monsters for players to discover. In this game, you build your outpost during the day and fight enemies at night. Building your stronghold, Oakridge, not only involves expanding your base and operations, but also taking care of the population’s food, clothing, and weapons. Being able to customize your food and buildings is a fun feature shown off in the game’s trailer.
When night falls, you must prepare your heroes to fend off the attacks of Albion’s creatures. Interestingly, you can choose to fight the enemies in god mode (top-down view) or third-person mode, which makes the fight even more intriguing. To use special attacks and powers such as lightning, flamethrowers and water cannons, you can switch back to god mode at any time. Furthermore, you can customize each hero by designing their weapons and armor.
While the trailer only showed what the zombies look like in the game, you can expect more monsters, including werewolves and trolls. You can explore Albion to discover new towns and mines that will help you expand your business and earn more money. The developers call this open-world game something "new, unique and different" in this genre and we can't wait to see more of it.
