Mute With Gestures (also known as Easy Mute or Turn Over to Mute) is a Samsung feature that allows you to quickly silence incoming calls and alarms by placing your hand on the screen or placing the phone face down on a flat surface. This feature is available on Samsung devices running Android 6 and later.

The feature only works after your smartphone starts making a sound for an incoming call or notification. Here's how to make sure Mute With Gestures is enabled in Settings:
From the home screen, swipe down the screen or go to your apps and tap Settings.
