Samsung regularly updates its One UI operating system. The latest version is 6.1, which was rolled out in January 2024.

Based on Android 14, the One UI 6 update introduced a host of visual changes. These included a new default font, fresh emoji designs for the Samsung keyboard, a redesigned Quick Settings and Notifications panel, and simpler icon labels.
The updated Weather widget provides more information about local conditions, such as when severe storms are expected. In addition to improved graphics, there is also deeper insight into snowfall, moon phases, visibility and wind direction.
