Riot Games is celebrating five years of Teamfight Tactics with a Five-year Bash, featuring a limited-time game mode, free rewards, and anniversary-themed cosmetic items.
5 Years Bash | Event Teaser – Teamfight Tactics
The TFT Five-year Bash is a birthday party for all Tacticians. Despite being in Set 11, Teamfight Tactics is only five years old. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Riot is dropping a new limited-time game mode called Pengu’s Party. The celebration also includes a free event pass with 14 free-to-play rewards.
Like the Choncc's Treasure game mode, Pengu's Party is a limited-time game mode for fun. The new TFT game mode will be released on the PBE servers for testing on May 29th. On June 12th, via Patch 14.12, Pengu's Party will be released on the live servers, and will run until July 15th.
Instead of the wild loot orbs that appear in Choncc's Treasure, Pengu's Party will feature features from the previous 10 TFT sets. Not every feature from Sets One through 10 will be included, but it is expected that at least two features that were unique to that Set will be included. Gameplay with this many features is sure to be chaotic, but also nostalgic and fun. The specific features of each TFT Set added to Pengu's Party have yet to be revealed at the time of writing.
