The annual Hallow’s End event has returned to World of Warcraft, meaning that countless players will be attempting to obtain one of the game’s most prestigious and rare mounts: the Horseman’s Reins. While the Headless Horseman encounter has received a hefty overhaul this year, one thing remains the same: his mount is one of the most sought-after cosmetic items WoW has to offer.

Unlike other rare mounts, however, the Horseman's Reins are only available to loot during a short two-week period around Halloween each year. So if you want to pick up the mount for yourself, you'll need to spend time completing the Headless Horseman encounter before Hallow's End comes to a close.
Whether you're trying to get the mount in WoW Dragonflight or WoW Wrath Classic, you'll need to farm the Headless Horseman encounter often if you want to have a chance at the reins.
