Google tests follow button on Chrome for websites that support RSS
Announced on May 18, 2021, Android users in the US will see a new “Follow” button under the more button (3 vertical dots in the top-right corner) on the Chrome Canary browser app. Let’s learn more about this new addition to Chrome.
Well, as of May 21, 2021, you'll need to be a Chrome Canary Android app user in the US to do this. If you don't have one, download it from the Play Store. Open the app, then tap the 3-dot button in the top right corner, also known as the More button. If the "Following" feature is available on your Google account, tap the +Follow button at the bottom of the menu.
If you remember RSS feeds, the follow button is just another way to stay up to date with the latest posts from your favorite blogs. RSS feeds help you follow all the blogs you like and show you the latest posts in one place. The 'Follow' button helps you do just that in Google Chrome.
