Windows FINALLY Has a Package Manager – Here's Why It's Awesome

Wish you could install programs in Windows via the command line? Now there’s an easier way to install all of your favorite apps on a new computer after Microsoft recently released its Windows Package Manager (WPM). It’s currently in preview.

It's still a bit buggy and has a few less features compared to established package managers like Chocolatey, but it's great news for Windows developers and power users. And it might already be on your computer!

At the time of writing, there are only 2 ways to get Windows Package Manager. You can get it through the Windows Insider Program or through GitHub.
