Test your internet connection. On your iPad, open a web browser like Safari or Chrome and go to a web page that you know is online, like Google or Microsoft.
If the page is displayed in the browser, then access to the internet is not the problem. It could be an isolated issue and related to the specific app you are using. The only thing you can do is wait for the developer to fix it.
