WhatsApp has a new chat filter called Favorites that gives you quick access to individual and group conversations that are important to you. The new filter joins WhatsApp’s existing chat filters – All, Unread, and Groups. However, the Favorites filter seems to be the most useful of them all.

Once you mark a contact as a favorite, it will be added to the Favorites filter in the Chats tab. This way, you can find your favorite chats much faster than before.

Contacts marked as favorites will also appear at the top of the Conversations tab. Think of this as WhatsApp's version of speed dial, allowing you to find and place calls without having to dig through call logs or search for the contact.
