Destiny 2's Solstice 2024 marks the return of the European Aerial Zone (EAZ), the addition of new and returning armor sets, and a new chance to earn high-stat armor pieces. If you want functionality and fashion, Solstice might be a must-see.

Solstice will last three weeks, leading up to the final act of Echoes. Until then, players can talk to Eva Levante and take on all that the Destiny 2 event has to offer once it begins—and it’s right around the corner.

Solstice 2024 will likely kick off on Tuesday, August 6. Guardians can begin the event starting at 12:00 PM CT, but may be met with a message saying “Destiny 2 is temporarily full,” which will prompt a queue for the game.

Bungie hasn’t yet said what to expect from this year’s Solstice, but more information should become available as the release approaches. The communications team canceled a blog post planned for last week following the stunning layoffs at Bungie, which laid off 17 percent of its workforce on July 31.
