Final Fantasy XIV's next expansion, called Dawntrail, was revealed this summer during the Las Vegas Fan Festival and is set to release in 2024.

Players are curious about what the expansion will contain. Since Endwalker concluded the story that began ten years ago with A Realm Reborn, we don't know what the future holds for the game.
Still, the developer dropped hints at the end of the expansion's main story and in the post-expansion quests, and the Dawntrail trailer revealed where players will go next. The question that remains is when they'll be able to explore those distant lands.
Fans finally got a release date for Dawntrail on March 23rd after the developer revealed the date in a new X-post. Dawntrail is scheduled for release on July 2, 2024, with early access starting on June 28.
