Stardew Valley is everyone’s favorite farming game, whether you prefer to play with friends or solo. The long-awaited Stardew Valley 1.6 patch finally has a release date and I’ll share it below.

Stardew Valley is one of the most popular indie-themed farming simulator games, and we have all loved it for as long as we can remember. The game has been almost perfect over the years; however, we have never received a new update for it, despite a teaser being released in September 2023.

In February 2024, we received a new update from the developers on the game’s 8th anniversary. We finally have a release date and I couldn’t be more excited about it. The Stardew Valley 1.6 update is scheduled for March 19th, 2024. To celebrate the anticipation, I’ve set up a countdown for you to bookmark and revisit:

Please note, an exact release time is unknown and this countdown is an approximation; developer ConcernedApe has stated that he will be dropping the new content as soon as he's had his first cup of coffee of the day. The update will roll out to PC first, with other platforms to follow at a later date.
