Devas of Creation is a complex MMORPG Roblox game, making it quite unique in the sea of Roblox experiences currently available. There’s a lot to do, but there are also a lot of controls. While the game tells you what button to press, you might be surprised by one key in particular (`). Here’s where you’ll find the backquote on a keyboard.

You’ll find the backquote (`) button on a keyboard to the left of the “1” key (see image above). Yes, it’s the button you probably never use. I was confused too, because I only use that key in games to enter console commands. The developers of Devas of Creation clearly felt that this key was underused, so they implemented it into the game. Thankfully, they also introduced Devas of Creation codes, so you have something to keep in your backpack.

You use the backquote key to open your inventory in Devas of Creation. Use it again to close the inventory screen. While you can click the backpack icon at the bottom of the screen, it’s a lot nicer to finally use that (`) button for something other than typing “godmode” into the console command line in shooters. I have to admit, it’s actually quite useful and refreshing to use backquote so often, especially in MMORPG Roblox experiences like DoC.
