We found Specimen NES006 at the end of Battleground: Core, the third Battleground in the seasonal storyline. In our case, the Specimen ID: NES006 was just before the rally banner, near a wall on the left. We found him just after the "fall" section, with multiple spinning laser blades. It's unclear if players can find him in different activities.
To find the Specimen ID: NES006 quest, keep an eye on the Proximity Sensor buff on your screen. In Battleground: Core, it should start ticking in the room before the traps, with the second piston. Follow the path past the traps to find this near a blocked wall by a stream of radiolaria.
