While the Junon area is large, the area you need to search is not. Because while the map makes it seem like you need to race to the other side, the truth is that you don’t have to stray far from the far side. Here’s a comparison of the Wainwright map and the world map.
I didn't put an "X" on my map because the game shuffles the locations of buried treasure. The important thing is that these are the general areas. Your Chocobo will do the rest of the work.
