Uranium is an important and somewhat scarce resource in The Planet Crafter. In this guide, I'll show you where to find it and what to use it for.
How do you find Uranium in The Planet Crafter 1.0?
Two important uranium caves in The Planet Crafter are located at coordinates 1784:24:1942 in the Highlands region and 584:35:-656 in a Gate Desert sinkhole. By deploying an Ore Extractor T2 or T3 at these locations, you can mine uranium. However, due to the cramped size of these caves, space for extractors is limited.
A more efficient method of obtaining uranium is to launch Asteroids Attraction Rockets from the Launch Platform, which can be accessed at 345 KTi. These rockets not only boost heat generation, but also cause meteor showers. The sky turns yellow and then meteors streak through the sky with green trails. Each meteorite yields a few bits of uranium when it crashes to the ground, making this the most efficient way to farm it… if you can keep firing those rockets. Not only does this method provide a steady stream of uranium, it also speeds up global terraformation.
