A clue in the name, the Water Chestnut can be difficult to find in Fields of Mistria due to its unique appearance. No amount of tree shaking or bush pruning will help you find it, as the Water Chestnut hides in plain sight from those who desperately need it.

Unlike other common items in Fields of Mistria, water chestnuts hide like a needle in a haystack among Mistria’s intricate flora. Disguised as a bundle of green stems protruding from the riverbank, water chestnuts spawn at the edge of The Narrows river. You can pluck them straight from the ground using the Harvest button. The Narrows is located on the western side of Mistria and includes two rivers that you can visit while hunting for water chestnuts.

Multiple Water Chestnut bundles can spawn at once and will respawn at a later time. However, you cannot revisit the area within the same day to harvest the same bundle twice. We recommend checking the southern edge of The Narrows and searching the riverbank here for the Water Chestnut. This nut will appear noticeably larger when harvesting is available and shorter once picked up (as the roots remain attached so more can grow). The Harvest prompt will also disappear, informing you that harvesting is no longer available for this item.
