I never want to have a physical business meeting again since I started using MeetinVR, the virtual reality app recently released for the Oculus Quest 2.

From the moment I entered the virtual environment of MeetinVR, I had a blast. I can't say that about most Zoom calls.

The first thing I did after launching the app was to choose an avatar. These aren’t your usual stick figures. The MeetinVR software converts a two-dimensional selfie into a 3D rendering. It can even capture your facial expression, bone structure, hair and eye color.

Then you enter the MeetinVR space, which looks like a giant room floating above a scene of your choice, including a scene from space. I chose a view of the mountains of Vietnam and spent a few minutes just hanging out by the window and staring at the breathtaking scenery.
