Destiny 2's Echoes Act Two brought further story developments, taking place as part of the A Rising Chorus: Act Two quest. This storyline continues to unravel the mystery of the Conductor and takes guardians deeper into Nessus in new Battlegrounds activities.

Once you've collected Code Mutations and completed both Battlegrounds Delve and Conduit, however, your progress may come to a halt. This is the idea: you're not allowed to progress the A Rising Chorus: Act Two quest past a certain point until the next resets occur.
This weekly cadence has been central to Destiny 2’s seasonal model up until now, and the shift to Episodes hasn’t affected that timing (for now). Echoes’ story will continue to be told in staccato fashion, with a new story arc unfolding every Tuesday for three or four weeks, followed by a break until the next act begins.
