Trials of Osiris is the weekend-exclusive PvP mode with plenty of loot to hunt down. While it is available most weeks, players may find that a particular weekend does not have Trials of Osiris for a variety of reasons.
This is a BIG problem in Trials of Osiris!
On some occasions, Trials of Osiris are taken out of rotation altogether, such as Iron Banner weeks, raid race weekends, and even the first weekend of a new season. This usually keeps populations in one place, preventing players from having to choose between Trials and other activities.
However, Bungie can sometimes remove Trials from rotation for various reasons, including technical issues. Here's why there will be no Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 this weekend.
Bungie canceled Trials of Osiris over the weekend of May 10-14, replacing the weekend-exclusive mode with a different playlist. Instead of diving into Trials this weekend, players will have some more time to test out the New Territory playlist, which features three new maps and ties into the Forged Anew quest.
