Microsoft warns that you shouldn't get your hands on an Xbox Series X or Series S console until June.
This is a HIDDEN feature on EVERY Xbox! 😱
Supply of the new consoles will be tight for months, Mike Spencer, the company’s head of investor relations, recently told The New York Times. The problem is a shortage of chips needed to produce the units. It doesn’t help users that scalpers and bots are buying up all the inventory they can get their hands on for resale.
“One of the main reasons there is a shortage of Xbox games is because bot scalpers are hoarding inventory from November and December,” gaming writer Devin Pickell said in an email interview.
"If you're not aware of bot scalping, it's essentially a software program that monitors retail sites like Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon. When new console stocks appear on those sites, the bot adds them to the cart and pays for them within microseconds – much faster than anything humanly possible."
