The headphones feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and one hour of sunlight is enough for three hours of headphone power. Even indoor lighting charges the internal batteries, but daylight is best. And that battery lasts for 50 hours anyway. So why don’t all gadgets run on solar power?
“The biggest issue is energy supply,” Dan Bailey, a renewable energy and landscape architecture specialist, told Lifewire via email.
"Think about solar panels on a house. They have a huge surface area compared to your phone, and your house runs quite efficiently. Your phone requires a huge amount of energy that currently cannot be converted from solar energy."
