Gojo is the real reason Geto became evil #shorts #jujutsukaisen
Although introduced as an antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen, there was more to Suguru Geto's story that was spotlighted in the first five episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. The Hidden Inventory Arc featured Gojo's past and highlighted his bond with Geto during one of their toughest missions. The action-packed arc also featured Megumi's father and the events at the end had an unseen outcome. They were one of the main reasons behind why Suguru Geto turned evil in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Suguru Geto became a fan favorite from the movie, which featured the Cursed Child arc. However, his presence in the Hidden Inventory arc was a breath of fresh air for fans, as they got to see his background and understand why he changed into who he was in the movie. Gojo and Geto were polar opposites from the beginning. While Geto was presented as the villain and Gojo as the hero, the Hidden Inventory arc showed that wasn’t entirely true.
With all of his Six Eyes powers and Infinity, Gojo was set up to become what Geto became. In some ways, the drastic change in Geto also somewhat reasoned with Gojo to be the hero and sensei we've seen him be throughout the series. Riko Amanai's death in the series is the turning point for Geto, and a few events afterward force him to be the main antagonist against those who don't possess cursed energy.
