As Samsung adds flagship features to its mid-range lineup, the need to buy more expensive devices is diminishing, experts say.

For years, Samsung’s Galaxy S series was the best it had to offer. While that’s technically still true, the smartphone maker recently revealed that it would be bringing one of its key “flagship” features to the A series, its more affordable mid-range devices.
This move, along with better support for 5G networks, could completely eliminate the need to purchase the more expensive S-series devices.
“Samsung's A-series phones are great phones with some pretty advanced features at an affordable price,” Peyton Leonard, smartphone expert at AutoInsurance.org, told Lifewire via email.
