If you are really desperate to get your hands on a particular item, and no other product or brand will do, contact the company that makes that item. For example, if you want updates on Listerine mouthwash, contact Johnson & Johnson.
Sometimes information about the manufacturer, including how to contact the company, is right there on the label of a product. If not, a quick search for “manufacturer of [name of product]” should suffice and should also bring up the contact information for their customer service department.
